Social Service Club

Awareness for social issues and the willingness to serve the society, especially the underprivileged, are values that all individuals must possess. Apeejay School has a Social Service Club that develops this sense of empathy in students. The Club takes up a variety of projects such as child labour, e-waste disposal, conservation and preservation of natural resources and awareness programmes on safety measures during natural calamities, Swachh Bharat Campaign and general cleanliness drives.

The members of the club take works in close association underprivileged students of Apeejay Anand Children’s Library and KMC schools.The students donated clothes and daily necessary items for their day-to-day use. The club also organised the collection of e-waste and handed it over to the waste management groups to prevent e-waste pollution, an endeavour to save our environment from pollution.

The club organized an awareness programme on earthquake involving the pedestrians near Baishaki island of Salt Lake. Our clubs was instrumental in raising funds and clothes donation for the school project in Purandil under Village Adoption Programme. This is an ongoing project and the club wishes to be actively involved in all such projects in future and contribute towards the development of the society.
